Strange Tales of the Unusual ran for 11 issues (1955–1957). Publishing format: was ongoing series. Science-fiction/horror anthology. This series was one of eight science-fiction anthologies launched or revived in an eight-month period (cover dates October 1955–June 1956), increasing Marvel's science-fiction line from eight to sixteen books. This book ran until the collapse of Marvel's distributor and the subsequent restructuring known as the "Atlas Implosion".
