Thor (1966, Marvel)

Thor ran for 378 issues (1966–1996). Publishing format: was ongoing series. Thor began in issue #83 of Journey into Mystery. For other appearances look primarily in many issues of The Avengers. The early issues are also reprinted in Marvel Spectacular. Stories from the Tales of Asgard series have been reprinted in two one-shot comics, and in a mini-series. Indicia title in issues #407–410 and #413–489 is "The Mighty Thor." Variants named "Whitman" are a distribution variant arranged in plastic bags known as pre-packs, 3 packs or multipacks and distributed by Western Publishing Company, Inc. Indicia in the "Whitman" named variants has been found to be the same as the base indicia.
