My Girl Pearl (1955, Marvel)

My Girl Pearl ran for 11 issues (1955–1961). Publishing format: was ongoing series. There are date gaps in this series as follows: #1 to #4 (April to October 1955); #5 (July 1957); #6 (Sept. 1957) and #7 to #11 (August 1960 to April 1961) My Girl Pearl was created to be similar to the My Friend Irma radio show (and TV show and movies), but to be owned by Marvel. (Marvel had previously published a licensed My Friend Irma comic book.) Starting with issue #7, the main characters were de-aged into teenagers and placed in a high-school setting.
