About this card

The second generation (generation II) of the Pokémon franchise features 100 fictional species of creatures introduced to the core video game series in the Game Boy Color games Pokémon Gold and Silver. The generation was unveiled at the beginning of the Nintendo Space World '97 event. Gold and Silver were first released on November 21, 1999, in Japan.

Once during your turn, if Xatu is on your Bench, you may choose 1 Special Condition from 1 of your Active Pokémon and remove that Special Condition. Then, 1 of the Defending Pokémon is now affected by that Special Condition that you chose.

Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy attached to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
