Whizzer and Chips (1969, IPC)

Whizzer and Chips ran for 1087 issues (1969–1990). Publishing format: was ongoing series. Ran for 1087 issues before merging with Buster comic in October 1990. The original idea was to have two comics in one - Chips could be pulled out from the center of Whizzer. Several other series were incorporated into Whizzer and Chips. 30th June 1973 to 12th October 1974 - Cover title: "Whizzer and Chips Incorporating Knockout" 22nd April 1978 to 6th October 1979 - Cover title: "Whizzer and Chips with Krazy Comic" (27th May 1978 - First use of proper "With Krazy Comic" logo) 6th April 1985 to 12th October 1985 - Cover title: "Whizzer and Chips Now Including Whoopee" (5th October 1985 - Skipped "Now Including Whoopee" on cover) 15th April 1989 to 20th May 1989? (for 6 issues only?) - Cover title: "Whizzer and Chips with Scouse Mouse" Merges with Buster (IPC, 1960 series) on 3rd November 1990. Other dates of note: 19th October 1974 - 5th Birthday issue 13th October 1979 - 10th Anniversary issue 7th May 1983 - Cover says #700 27th October 1990 - Final issue
