TV Comic ran for 1697 issues (1951–1984). Publishing format: Was ongoing. Cover title "TV Comic + TV Action" #1133-1147; "TV Comic plus Tom & Jerry Weekly" #1182-1201; "Mighty TV Comic" #1292-1352; "TV Comic with Target" #1393-1401. From #1292 to #1376 TV Comic changed to a sixteen page tabloid format but was sold folded in half so that the 'front cover' was actually the top half of the back cover (like the Monster Times). Strips reprinted from the half tabloid issues were printed sideways on the tabloid pages so although indexed as one page were actually two page strips.
