The Spirit ran for 22 issues (1944–1950).

Quality was the first company to produce authorized reprints of Will Eisner's Spirit Section, first in Police Comics (issues #1-102) and, starting in 1944, in a magazine devoted primarily to The Spirit. Original index for this series was created from the indexing work of Henry Steele.
