The Shadow ran for 168 issues (1952–1966). Publishing format: Was Ongoing Series. The publication date for #140-157 was determined by Fintan O'Laighin (GCD Error Tracker Error 2097, 26 August 2009) by noting that in February 1966, Australian moved from the Australian pound to the Australian dollar. According to Matt Emery of Pikitia Press, an Australia and New Zealand site dedicated to comics and creators from those countries, all issues of the Shadow's second series were drawn by Peter Chapman.
