The Katzenjammer Kids ran for 11 issues (1947–1949). Publishing format: Was ongoing. Based upon the newspaper strip by Rudolph Dirks, illustrated by Harold H. Knerr and others; The Katzenjammer Kids also appeared in Feature Book (David McKay, 1937 Series) #30, #32, #35, #37, #41, #44 and were a regular feature in the newspaper strip anthology, Ace Comics (David McKay, 1937 Series) see also: The Captain and the Kids (various series) derived from the original strip.
