The Bouncer (1944, Fox)

The Bouncer ran for 4 issues (1944–1945). The Green Mask #10 had a cover date of August 1944, which would suggest that issue #11 would appear in August. Instead, The Bouncer #11 came out at that time, with most of the same features as The Green Mask (except for the lead feature). The Rocket Kelly story in The Bouncer #11 is a direct continuation of the Rocket Kelly story in The Green Mask #10. Clearly, The Bouncer was intended, at that time, to be the continuation of The Green Mask. However, two months later, The Green Mask did continue, and resumed with its own issue #11.
