Terry and the Pirates Comics ran for 24 issues (1947–1951). Publishing format: Was Ongoing. Reprints of the Terry and the Pirates comic strip. Original "Hotshot Charlie" stories based on the strip start appearing in #13. In 1949-1952 Don Heck worked in production, cutting and pasting strips for re-publication in the comic book format.
