Stephen Ballantyne (writer) and Bob Kerr (artist) are the creators of New Zealand's groundbreaking graphic novel series, The Adventures of Terry Teo. The first book, Terry and the Gunrunners, was published by Collins in 1982 and was followed by two sequels, Terry and the Yodelling Bull (Finlayson Hill, 1986) and Terry and the Last Moa (Hodder & Stoughton, 1990). The series was hugely successful and was even turned into a children's television series in 1985.
