Tammy ran for 693 issues (1971–1984). Publishing format: was ongoing series. Published weekly. Cover titles: Tammy and Sally: 3rd April 1971 - 27th May 1972 Tammy and Sandie: 27th October 1973 - 15th June 1974 Tammy and June: 22nd June 1974 - 4th October 1975 Tammy and Misty: 19th January 1980 - 26th September 1981 Tammy and Jinty: 28th November 1981 - 10th July 1982 Tammy and Princess: 7th April 1984 - 16th June 1984 Tammy: 23rd June 1984 last issue. It is believed that it was intended to merge Tammy with Girl, but a printer's dispute in June 1984 prevented the final issues being published and it was simply cancelled. Girl did carry the Tammy masthead for several issues from 25th August 1984 but these issues contain no material from Tammy. Comic was not numbered, only dated. No published issues on: 12/28/1974, 1/4/1975, 1/11/1975, 12/30/1978, 5/17/1980, 5/24/1980, 5/31/1980. Double dated issues: 21-28 June 1980.
