Star Love Stories (1965, D.C. Thomson)

Star Love Stories ran for 520 issues (1965–1976). Publishing format: Was ongoing. Prior to Star Love Stories, there were four separate companion romance titles published by D.C. Thomson (Blue Rosette Romances, Golden Heart Love Stories, Love & Life Library, and Silver Moon Romances). Each title was published monthly. Starting in April 1965, these separate titles were merged into the single Star Love Stories title which was published four times per month, with one issue per month maintaining the cover logo from the original companion titles. The numbering for the Star Love Stories series picks up from the last issue of Golden Heart Love Stories. The merging of the different legacy titles would follow this numbering pattern: Golden Heart Love Stories -> Star Love Stories #98, 102, 106, ... Love & Life Library - Star Love Stories #99, 103, 107, ... Blue Rosette Romances -> Star Love Stories #100, 104, 108, ... Silver Moon Romances -> Star Love Stories #101, 105, 109, ... The rotation of the four legacy logos on the covers of Star Love Stories would continue each month until they were finally dropped in 1970.
