Overkill (1992, Marvel UK)

Overkill ran for 52 issues (1992–1994). Publishing format: was ongoing series. ISSN 0965-8777 Published bi-weekly from issue number one to forty-two. Switched to monthly from issue #43 to the series' end. This series is an anthology title featuring Marvel UK heroes (to the exclusion of any characters that originated from the main US division of Marvel comics, earlier on; this policy was eventually rescinded) like [gcd_link_series](4454), [gcd_link_series](4481), [gcd_link_series](4504), [gcd_link_series](12253), [gcd_link_series](4622), and [gcd_link_series](4462) in bi-weekly installments of 6-8 pages. Some issues may have included reprints of material that had already been published in the UK or in the U.S. (particularly later in the run), but the bulk of the early issues featured original material that sometimes ran concurrently with the U.S. editions of those same Marvel UK titles. These were created as part of Marvel UK's push to develop a distinct British superhero universe during the early 1990s.
