Mage ran for 16 issues (1997–1999). Publishing format: was ongoing series. All the characters created by Matt Wagner. This is the story of Kevin Matchstick, who has been given a magic baseball bat in order to destroy the supernatural fiends that threaten to initiate a new age of darkness. 2nd MAGE series. Continues from the 1984 Comico series. Issues 11 and 12 have indicia title as MAGE: THE HERO DEFINED. However the final 3 issues of the series go back to just MAGE.
