Heavy Metal [softcover editions] ran for 4 issues (2025–present). Publishing format: ongoing series. Following the cancellation of [gcd_link_name_series](110631){Heavy Metal Magazine} by the then-publisher [gcd_link_name_publisher](17190){Massive} (who used [gcd_link_name_indicia_publisher](9273){Heavy Metal Entertainment LLC}), the rights were acquired by new owners, who formed [gcd_link_name_indicia_publisher](10054){Heavy Metal International, LLC} and selected a new editorial team to relaunch the magazine in 2025, which began with a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the first issue on November 25, 2024.
