That period had been collected in Dick Tracy Dailies and Sundays (Pacific Comics Club, 1983 series). This series' main cover image of Dick Tracy had previously appeared on various editions of Dick Tracy: The Thirties ("Tommy Guns and Hard Times"), published between 1978 and 1990 by Chelsea House Publishers and Chartwell Books.
