Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon ran for 12 issues (2003–2005). Publishing format: limited series. English translation of a Chinese manhua originally published in Hong Kong. The series loosely adapts the novel of the same name by Wang Dulu, the fourth installment in his Crane Iron pentalogy, which was also the basis for the film of the same name by Ang Lee. The manhua takes some visual cues from the film adaptation, but is an adaptation of the novel rather than the film. Continued from the ComicsOne series, but then republished the first four volumes in revised, expanded editions while publishing the continuation.
