Cartoon Humor (1939, Pines)

Cartoon Humor ran for 41 issues (1939–1955). Publishing format: Was Ongoing Series. Risqué humour magazine with painted covers throughout, by Earle Bergey, Jefferson Machamar etc: early issues were sporadic, then generally on a quarterly schedule, but only three issues per volume. Also, for a good part of the run, the indicia had a specific month while the cover listed a seasonal date. The numbering of final two issues don't reflect the previous releases, but coincide with the company's comics titles, which started at issue #5.
