Captain George Presents ran for 14 issues (1969–1972). Publishing format: Was Ongoing Series. Comics reprinting strips and comics that were out of copyright. In 1971 the publisher was sued by King Features for reprinting comic strips that were not out of copyright and was forced to destroy all remaining back issues. (according to obit at http://www.friendsofmerril.org/sol08.html). Some issues published as double issues. Issue 42 reprints 1940's Canadian comics.
