Cancelled Comic Cavalcade (1978, DC)

Cancelled Comic Cavalcade ran for 2 issues (1978–1978). Publishing format: limited series. In the aftermath of the "DC Implosion" of June 1978, DC officially produced 35 copies each of a 2-issue photocopy compilation comprised of some of the material from the recently cancelled titles, along with older inventory. In an on-line interview in 2007 (reprinted on page 78 of Comic Book Implosion by Keith Dallas & John Wells) Paul Kupperberg states "However, we printed 40. Yep, don't know how many bootlegs there are out there of CCC, but there are actually 40 legitimate copies. The other five made their way through channels that I've since forgotten to names that I no longer recall... but the real number is 40." Nothing is printed on the back sides of the pages and the stories are separated by pages of colored paper.
