Buster ran for 1902 issues (1960–2000). Publishing format: Was Ongoing Series. Long-running British children's humour magazine, starring Buster and other humourous serials. Buster was originally called the son of Andy Capp, but this relationship was dropped later. Many other series were incorporated into Buster over the years, making many different cover titles: 25 February 1961 to 19 August 1961 — Buster and Radio Fun 29 September 1962 ? to 27 April 1963 ? — Buster and Film Fun 27 February 1965 to 23 October 1965 — Buster and the Big One 20 January 1968 to 5 July 1969 — Buster and Giggle 2 October 1971 to 11 May 1974 — Buster and Jet 22 June 1974 to 6 September 1975 — Buster and Cor!! 6 November 1976 to 25 August 1979 ? — Buster and Monster Fun 6 February 1982 to 12 February 1983 — Buster and Jackpot 2 June 1984 to 23 February 1985 — Buster and School Fun (title is normally only Buster but the School Fun logo also appears) 19 September 1987 to 23 January 1988 — Buster and Nipper 29 October 1988 — Oink!
