Boy Comics [Boy Illustories] ran for 21 issues (1951–1952). Publishing format: Was Ongoing Series. Canadian reprint of Boy Comics (Lev Gleason, 1942 series). There is much confusion over whether issues of this series were published by Superior or by Super. For convenience's sake, we have split the series when the distributor's mark changes to JBP, since that distributor appears on Super comics and not on Superior comics. There is even some evidence that some issues have both Superior and Super listed as the publisher in different locations in the comic. For example, issue #51 has an indicia with Super, but a note about being published by Superior inside the front cover. The other confusion in this series is the title. It is not certain whether all issues have the same name on the cover as in the indicia. To avoid duplication, the series title reflects both possibilities.
