Action Comic (1946, Peter Huston)

Action Comic ran for 68 issues (1946–1951). Publishing format: was ongoing series. This is the first of three series of Action Comic/Action Comics. Pricing in this series is 6d (#1 - #54) and 8d (#54 - #68). However, UK pricing variants (6d) exist for some issues and pricing alone cannot be used to determine the correct series for a particular issue. Peter Huston was the publisher only for issues 1-15, then Leisure Productions to #38, then H. John Edwards to #68. The front cover was almost always the first story page, but 3 issues are different: #s 20, 21 & 23 have a normal cover, and also are titled Action Comics.
