A Treasury of Comics ran for 3 issues (1948–1950). Publishing format: collected edition. The first issue contained sixteen back issue comics, as published by St. John; minus their original covers, rebound inside a decorative board cover; the cover image is the same, front and back; with 'A TREASURY OF COMICS' in red capital letters along the spine; no price is visible externally, but was advertised for sale in their comics for USD $1.00. The inclusive page-count is therefore 520 pages (16 x 32-pages, plus title page/indicia, rear end paper and outer cover). A second issue is illustrated in Ernest and Mary Gerber's Photo Journal Guide To Comic Books, Volume 2, 1990 (page 716); Information is required about the existence of a third edition.
